Official Redmi Note 9 Pro and Note 9 Pro Max: Xiaomi drops the notch

Xiaomi has just presented two new entry-level smartphones, the Redmi Note 9 Pro and Note 9 Pro Max. On the menu, edge-to-edge screen, quadruple photo sensor and Snapdragon 730G.

The announcement was expected, Xiaomi has unveiled its new Redmi Note 9 Pro and Redmi Note 9 Pro Max, two mid-range devices that adopt a modern design and a rather interesting technical sheet. The commercial launch will start in India at the end of March with a price between 12,999 Indian rupees (around 155 euros) and 18,999 rupees (around 225 euros). It is not yet known if they will arrive in Europe.

The difference by the photo?

The Redmi Note 9 Pro and Note 9 Pro Max have many similarities. The design is very close with a 6.67 inch LCD screen in 20: 9 format displaying a definition 1080 x 2400 pixels (Full HD +). We find on both models a Snapdragon 720G (8 nm) SoC associated with 4 GB, 6 GB or 8 GB of RAM depending on the versions and 64 or 128 GB of storage (expandable via micro SD). They also have the same 5,020 mAh battery with fast charging 18 watts for the Pro and 33 watts for the Pro Max, but also a fingerprint reader located on the edges and an audio jack output 3.5mm.

The photo part is also very close between the two cameras. The Redmi Note 9 Pro has the following configuration:
